The headline weekend of the CISC season — a coastal race from Limassol Marina to the fishing village of Zygi, an all-night party on the shore, and a return leg back home.

  • 12:00Race start from Limassol Marina (wind builds around 11:00)
  • Intermediate finish at St. Raphael Marina, then restart towards Zygi
  • 17:00Finish in Zygi — boat placement, shower, rest
  • 18:00Party & debriefing at Old Zygi restaurant (tables booked thanks to Sasha Mirzoyan) — until morning

  • 11:00Briefing on the return trip
  • 12:00Start from Zygi towards Limassol Marina (possible additional finish near St. Raphael Marina — decided at the briefing)

How the evening unfolds

  1. 01

    Meet at the club two hours before sunset — quick hello, drinks, race briefing.

  2. 02

    Jump in the boats — gear up, split into crews, cast off the lines.

  3. 03

    Head out to race — short, punchy courses timed to the setting sun.

  4. 04

    No experience needed — pros and first-timers race side by side, instructors on board.

  5. 05

    Back to the marina at dusk for cold drinks, war stories and prize-giving.

    A fun, easy briefing — how sailboats work and how to actually enjoy being under sail.

  2. 02

    You're split into crews in a relaxed, random way — just like real regattas.

    Your professional instructor explains the plan for the day and assigns roles onboard.

  4. 04

    Hands-on training on the water — practice your crew role in real conditions.

  5. 05

    With 3+ teams we run actual races. Otherwise: an amazing day building confidence on the water.
